Who are we?
Kay Bachman, MA & Daniel Villaume
We are lovers of dance, song, the earth, and each other. We are excited to continue the sweet legacy of Soul Village that founders Tim Hartnett and Amy Cooper brought to our communities. Together, we will co-create magic, and embrace the joy of music and movement in our new venue at Cedar Springs retreat center. Join us to experience the nourishing power of community through teacher-led song circles and soulful dances.
Kay has a Masters in Transformative Arts from JFK University in Berkeley, CA and has been teaching and leading for nearly two decades. She is the weaver and creator of Tending the Now, a spiritual movement practice. She also provides spiritual counseling/guidance in 1-1 sessions, and together with Daniel offers support in navigating conflict and repair for couples, housemates, friends, and parents. You can book a session and find out more about her offerings here.
Daniel has spent much of his life in and with trees, counseling and supporting them and their stewards (his clients) with his unique brand of compassionate, kinesthetic encouragement. He draws on his arboreal wisdom with decades of healing and counseling practices in modalities with acronyms such as NLP, NVC, BPI, EFT, IFS, to name a few. He loves holding space supporting individuals and community with a unique blend of embodied NVC, Parts work, Attachment Theory and emergent, nature-based listening.
